If you have boys taking American History in school this year, talk to their teacher. They will cover most of the requirements in Heritage in class.

Also, there are many potential scouting events that can cover a large portion of this MB. Our troop went to earn the Gettysburg Trail Medal last year, and several boys have now almost finished the badge.

I think that as adults we need to look at the badges and see where a boy can earn them. This does not mean they have to. When one on my boys starts Drivers Education I hand them a worksheet for Traffic Safety. It is up top him if he wants to earn the badge or not. But if you are already doing the requirements why not.
