Meritbadge.org and usscouts.org both got copies of the requirements from one of the Scouters who was involved in creating the badge, and who received an advance copy of the pamphlet. After both sites posted them, we got a nice note from BSA's Innovation staff (i.e. the people in charge of new merit badges) asking that we not publish the info until BSA's official announcement, which will occur on September 7th. (They'll post the requirements on scouting.org at that time, too.) The note said:AquilaNegra2 wrote:Can someone please email me what WAS up? Here's the schedule they also sent us:Please remove the information until BSA officially releases the information on our website. ... It does cause problems if Scouts and others see the information prior to the media and the official BSA release.
