I am helping some boys w/ the Golf MB. One of the requirements for the golf MB is to know the 3 categories of golf etiquette. I looked thru the MB booklet, as well as teh USGA rules (on line) and I can't find 3 categories listed. I have a hunch it is Safety, Consideration for others, and care of the course, but I can't find where they are actually defined for sure. Can any of you golfers out there help me out?

My boys are doing this one right now, and they were instructed that it was:
Safety
Honor
Consideration
The instructor said he didn't know where that came from, but that's what he'd always been taught.

Interetsing... When you google golf etiquette and "three categories" all you get are links to the requirements. I imagine one relates to following the rules of golf (no grounding your club in a hazard, don't improve your lie). Another would be etiquette in relation to your playing partners - don't jiggle the change in your pocket or talk while he's swinging, don't ask him when he's about to tee off "On your backswing, do you inhale or exhale?" - things like that. Third might relate to care of the course - repair ball marks, replace divots, don't drive the cart too close to the green.
