Badge at Devils Lake State Park, WI

I have a lesson plan that's designed specifically for use at
what some call the "Grand Canyon of the Midwest." The lesson
plan includes only those optional requirements that fit best
into the geology of the area and into the geology tour offered
by Nature Safari. Paul Herr, founder of Nature Safaris added
notes to the requirements and customized his tour slightly to
accomodate scouts working on the badge. I highly recommend
troops visiting Devils Lake to consider hiring Nature Safari
as part of their outing. Their program is both informative and
enjoyable.

This looks very well put together. I just received the
Geology Merit Badge, unfortunately, but I'll tell my troop
about this. Maybe it'll be an option for an upcoming trip!

just got the geology merit badge it was kind of fun becuase of
the cave thing
