Do any fingerprinting councellors live within the vicinity of Cleveland? or better yet closer to the border of Cuyahoga County and Geuga County? If so, please either reply on this forum or e-mail me at
Jollyoldeb@aol.comthanks,

You can check with the local police department.
If it is not written down then it is not an official rule

Our troop just went to a neighboring town where the chief of police is a MBC. Check with your local police department there may be a registered MBC there or you may be able to get one of the officers to become one. Good luck. Our boys had a lot of fun fingerprinting each other.

I am quite sure you have an FBI office in Cleveland Area and I am sure they would be happy to help. We have Merit Badge Camporees every 5 or six year and the PA state police always supply an expert to do this .

I don't have my scout papers handy today, but I know we have a Fingerprinting Counselor in the Cuyahoga Valley district list. Also, my boys saw someone in Solon for this. Your district advancement guys should be able to help you out with this. If not, post back in the next day or two and I will send you the information if you need.

Or, say which comes first, haha. Well there are skilled people all over, that could do it. So if Council/District doesn't show any in their system, go recruit one. Besides each level of Law Enforcement, consider local labs or colleges.
