The first thing is to get and read the Merit Badge Pamplet. Believe it or not I have seen counselors that were teaching a badge without ever having looked at the book.

Then go to the first page in this site. Go to Merit Badge Program Helps And find the Personal Fitness Merit Badge in the list. There are several great links there.

like lynda said, id get a MB book for it. they usually have loads of info. ive done a few mb's that i have little to no knowledge about. after looking over the mb book, i could almost teach myself everything i need to know for it (thats just the way i learn). the i-net is also a good place to look for ideas and help.

MB book is a must

Yep, there are many additional resource ideas out there, to assist a Counselor. One must however use the appropriate booklet, or at a minimum the printed Requirements. Background in the subject matter is really helpful, but less critical than willingness to halp do the Badge.

And Requirements aren't always met when flying by the seat of one's olive drabs, haha.
