I have been a counselor for the newly revised
Pulp and Paper merit badge for the past three years. Statistically this is the least taken merit badge of all the badges offered.
Thankfully, the wildly out-of-date requirements were changed in January. The new requirements are found on this site, but not the new Worksheet. I revised the Merit Badge Worksheet that I found on the old site so I could use it in my class at our Merit Badge Jamboree this year.
How can I submit the new Worksheet to MBNet?

Fran,
You should find the new requirements on
http://www.meritbadge.org (the new wiki site). At least the requirement date shows 2007. Check it out and make sure it is current.

Hi Fran,
You can submit your file in the following way:
1. Go to the following page and sign up for a wiki account. (Please note that although email addresses are optional, to do what you want to do they are required.)
http://meritbadge.org/wiki/index.php?ti ... ype=signup2. After signing up, go to the following page and upload your PDF file. (DOC files are not allowed at this time but we're working on it.)
http://meritbadge.org/wiki/index.php?ti ... ial:Upload3. After uploading your file, go to the following page and click on the EDIT tab then add a link to the file you uploaded under the
Help with these requirements heading. For example, if your file is named PulpandPaper.pdf then you would type in the following:
* [[Media:PulpandPaper.pdf]] - A worksheet to keep track of your work on the Pulp and Paper merit badge
4. Click on the SAVE PAGE button. Your should end up with a link that looks like:
Hope this helps

Our county Public Works solid waste department offers a free class that fulfills most all of these requirements. BYOMBC

.
According to the statistics for 2005, it's in the top 100 merit badges... 99th. Wonder why? It seems fairly straightforward and simple; not even requiring an interview or report.
