I am a photographer and marit badge counceler in photography.
I feal that with the advent of digital photography, and the
vast acceptance of it in the professional community, the
scouts need to address it when they pass the marit badge. I
propose that a choice be allowed for the scout to do dark room
or digital processing and explain the process he used for his
picture. All the other parts of the marit badge are the same
in either process. The purpose of a marit badge is to aquaint
a scout in an area that he can use in his adult life.
