Exploration - new pamphlet and requirements
BSA has published a new merit badge pamphlet for Space
Exploration. The pamphlets have new requirements. Scouts that
have the old pamphlet, or start the badge between now and
January 1, 2005 can use the old requirements. Or they can use
the new ones.

I didn't realize that was a new Badge, but I'll look into that. If your Units have interested Scouts...right now is a good time to view "local" Planets. There are always some interesting things to look at (like Nebulas). But now we have Saturn, Venus, Mars, and Jupiter to view. And a small telescope or binoculars will reveal rings and moons of some of these.

Not a new badge. New requirements and a new pamphlet for a badge that's been around for some time.
