School

One year I went to a Conversation School and I was wandering
if they do that kind of thing everywhere or just in my area.
The sportsman's league is the one that runs it but I knew
someone in scouts who was part of that organization and I got
in and it counted as a special award for me in scouts.

It was very education and very fun.

Well, to be honest, I'm not sure what a Conservation School
is. =)

Umm it helps to teach you about the different kind of animals
and the environment in your area. The Local Game Commission
comes alot. Its a week long thing at a camp out. The school in
its self isnt a Boy Scout function but I got an award for it.

We traveled through a bog one day and learned alot about
dranage from the old coal mines (since I live near pittsburgh
there are alot of abandon mines which leave very nasty streams
and such.)

Ah, I see. Well, I don't think they do that in my area, but
I'll have to check that out.

banquette)

And its most definately not pathetic Firefish it was one of
the most worthwhile things I've ever attended.

A Lot of Fish and Game Clubs sponsor Conservation Field Days
in SW Pa. the Game Commission and Fish and Boat Commission are
really involved in it and the Send literature and invitations
out to scout units in the area. The boys in my troop did this
about 12 years ago and haad a great time. More recently they
have hit the day we were going to or coming back from camp.

I guess me and your guys went to the same one, WagionVigil

My old friend Mr. Beckage got me in and kids from my troop. It
was such a worthwhile experience.
