[FAQ] Having trouble logging in, viewing new posts, etc.?

Every so often, we all need to do a little housekeeping (that is, if you're running MS Internet Explorer):

Delete your "Cookies"* and "Temporary Internet files". Assuming you're using Microsoft's Internet Explorer, mouse up to the Menu Bar and L-click on Tools, then Internet Options.... it'll be in there. Once it's done, L-click "OK" 'til the Internet Options panel closes; then, close your web browser (Internet Explorer); wait a couple of seconds; relaunch your web browser and surf back to http://www.meritbadge.net.

(*) Note: If you had previously saved your username and password (i.e., to automatically login to meritbadge.net or other websites), you will have to re-enter them (again). So, don't delete your "Cookies" unless/until you can recall your usernames and passwords to all the websites you automatically logon to! -- Word to the wise... sooner or later, it's gonna happen; so, keep your usernames and passwords safe and secure, but... do it somewhere else! Don't ever rely solely on your computer to keep up with them.
