What's up with meritbadge.org? Although the main page comes up with a cloudflare backup, many of the internal pages come up with error 520 and no cloudflare cached page available.

Seems to trigger a problem every time I try to edit in the new requirements for Boy Scout ranks? I can view the pages fine, but can't edit.

Weelllllllll....... I went to backup the wiki earlier today, but it was down. And, unfortunately, it's down hard... crash-and-burn hard. (FWIW, I have all the "files" backed-up; it's the LAMP stack's database(s) that's crashed.)

• Power Cycle = No effect.
• Telnet = Inaccessible.
• FTP = Inaccessible.
• cPanel = Inaccessible.

IOW, I'm unable to get anything to/from the server.

The next step is to re-provision (i.e., wipe the drivespace and reload the OS onto) the server and ATTEMPT to restore an old --very old-- backup. (Anything near current would be corrupted.)

OT1H, this could be an opportunity to revive and update the wiki. OTOH, we could just let it R.I.P.... WHAT SAY YOU ALL?
