Titles

I have a question as a new user. What do the "titles" under the names on the left mean (scout, second class, first class, life, star, eagle, counselor, etc) I know (obviously) that they are ranks in scouts, but how do they apply here?

They change according to the number of post you make.

but dont go out just posting a lot just to get a higher rank. It makes you look real bad to the other people and just try not to get personal with postings. otherwise have a good time.
