Why has this been disabled?

Guess I need to add that one to my FAQ. Here's the link to the volunteer page.

Is there anyway to enable this for the adult users? I know on other sites, it is handy to be able to use this functionality. I understand a user may have other means to be reached by, but private messaging is such a good tool.

What if a when a user registers, they indicate if they are a youth and if so, PM is disabled for them. I don't disagree with the rationale behind your decision, but if we could make it work....

This board does not have that ability built into it. I have already checked into it because the moderators wanted to be able to use it for communications and it wasn't possible.
