Cub Scout Wind Tech Jacket Recall
The Boy Scouts of America's Supply Group has learned that the cords with toggles in the Cub Scout Wind Tech Jacket (Item Nos. 73291, 73292, and 73293) may not meet Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) requirements for children's outerwear. No injury related to the product has been reported to us or to the manufacturer of the jacket, SOS Manufacturing, Inc. Nevertheless, out of an abundance of caution, the BSA is voluntarily recalling all youth sizes of the jacket in order to protect the health and safety of all those who participate in our programs and to fully comply with the CPSC's recently adopted rule on drawstrings.
The BSA is offering a full refund to consumers who have purchased any of the youth-sized jackets that are being recalled. Consumers may return the jacket to any Scout shop or directly to the BSA's National Distribution Center in Charlotte, N.C. [....]
