Sometime in the next few days, I'm going to move the forums to their own web site at http://www.meritbadge.net/

I own it, I might as well use it

My request is I would like some input. The new site needs to have it's own slogan. MeritBadge.com's slogan is "Helping Scouts Advance". Since MeritBadge.net's sole purpose will be hosting the discussion forum, the slogan should reflect that. Here are some random thoughts:

The Scouting Discussion Network
Promoting Scout Interaction
Scouting Discussion

Please note that the SCOUTS-L slogan is the "Electronic Roundtable that Never Ends". They have been around a long time and I respect what they have accomplished. I want to stay away from anything similar. USScout's forum slogan is "Discuss It -- Scouting How-To Stuff" which also needs to be respected.

I'd think along the lines of Helping Scouts Advance. Keep the slogan similar to that one, so people see a connection. i.e., Giving Scouts Advice (heh, not the best, but a good idea of what I'm talking about).

The second attempt to move the forums failed as well. I've requested technical assistance from the fine makers of these forums. Hopefully we'll get this resolved soon.

Maybe tomorrow.

I like the Scouting Discussion Network. the SDN for short.
May be the slogan could be "Scouters Helping Scouters"
