Just got my email from Philmont Camping Registrar about making reservation request for 2010.
At the bottom of the information sheet, it states:
PLEASE NOTE: The Double H High Adventure Base will conclude six years of operation with the 2009 season. No reservations will be accepted for the Double H for 2010.
I've searched and cannot find out any other information. We were thinking about trying to go here in a few years.

I was just told about Camp Goshen (or Goshen Scout Ranch), National Capitol Area Council.
They are Plimont-ish in program and offerings.
