Still don't know what to do this summer This just came across my desk http://www.whiterivercanoerace.com and I thought it was interesting. It may be geared more to Crews, but it looks like Troops do participate. Blanchard Springs Caverns is also in this general area. Maybe W.V. knows more about the canoing and/or caverns and can give more information.

I got that also via the Yahoo Groups (Venturing). This is the first I have ever heard of the event and used to live near the area (Fort Leonard Wood) and even had a Crew there. Never saw anything from the Council on this.

Too bad it is only getting out now. My current Crew would have needed at leat 180 days notice to plan and prepare. We are going to Sea Base the same time frame so it is moot at this point for us.

I will share with our VOA and Crews for next summer as an alternative.
