My Patrol is planning an overnight wildernes survival campout
the scouts can only brring five items and they can only be what you would pack on a dayhike
Does anybody have any ideas or suggestions that might help me and my assistant

I would suggest the ten outdoor essentails in the Boy Scout handbook & wouldn't suggest a day hike with less. As part of my first aid kit I carry a space blanket.

I would check the Wilderness Survival MB pamphlet
If it is not written down then it is not an official rule
