Palisades Historic Trail Hike

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Palisades Historic Trail, a commemorative patch has been commissioned in limited quantities. Scouts can earn the patch by completing the Palisades Historic Trail Hike.

For more information on the Historic Trail please contact Emilie Roth at 201-677-1000 extension 48. They can also send you a map and guide. More information can be found online at http://www.nnjbsa.org. One of the requirements for earning the patch is spending a night at Camp Alpine.

Note: The trails are closed December thru February and if ever the Parks Commission determine the area unsafe. A number of boys from our troop did the whole 20 miles, 10 up and 10 back last November.
