Regional Patches For Jamboree Participants?

In another forum the topic of who should wear Regional Patches to the Jamboree has come up?
Any ideas or input?
Yes I have read page 48 of the Insignia Guide!!

Traditionally members of a jamboree troop wear regional patches. It is another way of indicating to each other where they are from.
50 year+ scouter -- have held almost all adult leader positions in Cubs, Scouts, & Venturing, currently serving as Council Scouting for Youth with Disabilities Chair.
