West Point Camporee

I work on the staff of the West Point Camporee that was held this past weekend. If you attended this year's or any other time, please post what you thought were sustains and improves so we can make the camporee that much better next year. Thanks!

I think the biggest problem was the wait for some of the 12 stations. i asked my guys to try and complete all stations. Having scouts wait 45-60 minutes for an event is WAY too long. Kind of like waiting for a Hershey Park ride 45 minutes for a 3 minute ride. Scouts get frustrated and give up.

Patches and Pins not available at check in and still didn't get the pins

6 inches of grass in the wet fields - not sure why you didn't mow before

Also the 1500 leaders meeting didn't happen

Egress out of the camporee for those that needed to leave early was not planned well

Shuttle bus schedule back and forth to the outlying parking was not well advertised
