We received notice of these Camperships about 2 weeks ago. I was very disappointed by this. Not the fact that there is help available, but the fact that the applications and "money" is being put out there so soon. This should be a last minute item. The boys should work at raising the money, not be "given" it a year in advance. This just encourages them to take a handout and not work to raise the money on thier own. Maybe other areas have done things differently, but we received an email notice that these were available, and a PDF of the application. The application needs to be submitted by 1 October.
