I took the wrong trail?

:? I quickly checked my Hiking Trails of America book (ebay "find"), and was going to direct you to the Presidents' Trail. Oops, I read your post again and corrected myself, haha. I looked around for some Sites with helpful hints, as I don't have first-hand knowledge of this.

One might offer some guidance. Alpinezone.com appeared to have a recent thread on this subject, so you might find experienced folks there.

It's mostly about Mt. Washington, but the information number at the bottem and a few of the other links will provide you with some useful stuff. I've hiked it and loved it, I've got a couple books that were very helpful in planing the trip, if I get a chance to dig then out of whatever box they are in I'll post the titles. They were in pretty much every sporting goods store in MA, CT, VT and NH. PA is probably far enough away that you can't find the books anywhere except on-line. Most people in Michigan have never even heard of it.
