Buckeye Council's OA Sipp-O Lodge #377 has rolled out a fantastic weekend at Seven Ranges Scout Reservation on August 21-23, 2009. It is open to all Scouts, families, and public. The purpose of the weekend is to raise funds for facility maintenance and improvement at our Camp.

There is all kinds of training, advancement, and fun events only like Sipp-O can pull off going on that will interest all ages. Included: 5k/2mi race, ARC Wilderness First Aid, Subaru LNT seminars, Merit Badge Conference, Ox Roast meal, Den Chief Training, Chaplain Aide Training, Kayaking BSA, Snorkel BSA, Mile Swim, Water Front Advancement for 2nd&1st Class, Civil War Re-enactors, Native American activities, Webelo Pin classes, Sipp-O Lodge's world famous Red Neck games, Patch show Trade-o-ree, Silent Auction, camping, campfire, field sports, Buckskin games, and Dutch Oven training, just to name a few things!

Our Council website is having a little trouble keeping up with the speed this thing is coming together, so as of today is only partially complete, but please check back often as more details are loaded. http://www.buckeyecouncil.org/OA/Sippo/ox_roast.htm. I have also uploaded all registration forms to date and will also be keeping it current with events as they are finalized on our Lodge's MyScouting page: http://community.scouting.org/groups/sipp-o_377/default.aspx.

For those Lodges in Section C4-A, you will get a preview of where the 2010 is going to be held at. We have even extended an invitation to the OA National Chief - Jack O'Neill, in addition to the new C4-A Council of Chiefs.

We welcome area troops and individuals! We will have a tent city for individual campers in addition to areas for full units. It will be a great event to show off our camp and also Scouting to the public! These events will fill up fast, so early bird registrations are greatly encouraged!
