So, besides the Jamborees, what other use is the Summit going to have? Are there going to be Philmont-style treks or something like that? Or will the people who go there just use the facilities out of a base camp? Or will it not do anything besides Jambo?

The Summit is going to Be an Eastern High Adventure base after the first Jamboree and a Permanent Scout camp plus a Training facility. What the Summit is working around is White Water rafting, Rock Climbing, Mountain Biking and hiking. The Summit is surrounded by The new River National recreation area.

Summit bound for the weekend. meeting with the experts to layout the final plans for the jamboree part of the Summit. I will be with Eldorado Wall representatives most of the time.
