venturing patrol questions

i was looking in my book, and it said that in a venturing patrol, in a troop, you can do shooting sports, but it doesnt say anything more. are we still limited to shooting only .22's, and shotguns, or are we allowed the same privlidges as the venturing crews?

What are you refering to?
The G2SS Covers all scouting including Venturing.
I also Refer you to the Ranger Shooting Sports Elective which is for CREWS Only not Venture patrols

I am locking this thread. The answers were given in the Hunting Trip Thread last fall. ALthough the questions were worded differently the answers are the same."NO!" Venture Patrols do not and are not permitted to do Venturing Activities. THE VENTURING ACTIVITIES ARE GEARED TOWARD ADVANCEMENT.
