It's well worth the time and effort. Always something new to learn about and meet new people.

Well I'm off to our University of Scouting tomorrow. Taking dutch over cooking and pioneering. Everything I am taking is outside and it has finally turned cold in Ft. Worth. That's ok I love the cold. And with dutch over there will be a warm fire circle to be around.
If anyone else has UoS this weekend. HAVE FUN, LEARN LOTS

i'm going to go ahead and wake a sleeping post and say that in November I attended my first University of Scouting - kind of sad after 8 years in the program.

Myself and one other Scouter taught Den Chief Training, we were told we only had 6 Den Chiefs, ended up with 17...fortunately we prepared for 20

If our UOS (Coronado Area Council) is representative of others, I would say it's an excellent idea. I look forward to going back next November, though it hurts to think ahead that far.
