Helping with Roundtable

I assume EVERYONE here goes to their monthly roundtable meetings. Well, I've been asked to help with ours.

Well this month, we are talking about our Klondyke Derby. It is an overnight winter camp with lots of "stations" for the scouts to go to and demonstrate their skills.

Well, I've been asked to lead a discussion about winter camping equipment. I've got my ideas...I was hoping some of you could give me some different ideas about what specialized equipment your unit uses.

Yeah...Like I said, I have ideas. I have done some internet searches. I was looking for what others might have done, as well.

I actually have enough for the discussion...I was looking for something to make it even better.

My troop has gone winter camping in northern Wisconsin. Pile up snow into a big pile, and then hollow out the inside, and spend the night in it.
Found out really quick that dressing in layers is the key.
