Powderhorn

Postby dparker » Mon Aug 30, 2004 12:34 pm

I have seen this training mentioned several times here on the forums, but I have not heard any mention of it in our concil. Is this a council-level training? How do I find out more about it?

Thanks in advance!

Powder horn is the Venturing Equal to Wood Badge EXCEPT it is mostly outdoor skills for the Ranger Award that are worked on. National is actually recommending that Boy Scout Leaders that are or have taken the new Wood Badge take Powder Horn

:) Yes, check in Venturing sources or search sites regarding the Powderhorn course. I don't recall, but it may also be listed in a Region's class opportunities. There have now been a couple of these in my State, so it's probably slowly catching on?
