Here is a heads-up........The Region will be announcing soon a Venturing pistol instructor training course. The program will be conducted a Camp Mattatuck (near Waterbury, CT.) Oct. 23 - 25, 2009. All attendees must have a Certified NRA Instructor currently (this will be an add-on to the certification). The current instructor rating can be in any NRA firearm program. Cost has not yet been set by Region.

Yes, and Camp Mattatuck also has the climbing tower that is on the cover of the MB Book.
Troop240SM Jr is a CIT there at the moment.
