Learning for Life issue locally

OK, couldn't decide if this should be in Campfire or here, so moderators can feel free to move it.

My Council is seeing an impact from a major problem in their largest school system. Unforeseen budget troubles have resulted in a major school system laying off many staff, including teachers. Now some remaining teachers are being reassigned. I hear the LFL program will be impacted, at least for a time, by these staff changes. I thought to seek input from our larger Scouting audience, to get ideas on approaches that might haelp these local efforts?

If you were not aware Learning for life has changed . It no longer counts in the councils totals and the councils must buy a license for X number of participants. OUr council bought for 4800. SO it is up to each council to buy what they feel they will serve. Not sure if this helps.It is suposed to be cheaper for the councils.

Thanks, yeah I knew that. Just hoped to reach a wider audience for input to help Council with this issue.
