I certainly hope the Supply Division gets better fabric for the uniforms and SOON.
I just took a new nylon uniform out for a test run and 10K into the woods it was already had rips and tears.
How are we to expect our kids to wear them to the woods then come home and clean them to wear the COH when
they self destruct climbing a short 50 foot rock wall or fray every time they get near a bush on a not so clear trail?
The Supply Division needs to use the rip-stop poplin/Nylon mix that was used on the Army uniforms from 63-90.
I STILL have a set that I prefer to wear when I got out.
The pants are the older, solid OD green and I will freely admit that on some Scout Outings in the back woods, I DO wear the
the pants.
This is getting too darned expensive.
