What about a Grub Swap subject line? I know that lots of fix pretty much the same thing but different things also.

Get heavy duty zip lock freezer bags.
Put all the ingredients for your favorite onlett in the bag
Mark with your name seal and put it in boiling water
Make sure they do not stay against the side of the pot or they will melt
Keep them moving until the eggs are done.
Just open and place on your kit you have a perfect omlett

Does the omlette get dry and fluffy in the bag or is it a bit runny?

If you do it correct it comes out perfect. It takes a couple of times to get it right. Take one and time it and see. If you open the bag too early it is runny

Blackforest cobbler.
One dark choc cake mix
I can cherry pie mix.
line dutch oven. Put cherry mix in. Mix cake mix as directed and pour on top .
Bake about 30 minutes depending on heat of fire.
Serve with either can or bag icecream.

Canola oil
Biscuit Dough
Powdered Sugar

Heat the canola oil. Cut the biscuit dough into quarters. Place the biscuit dough in the oil. Wait for it to become golden brown. Remove the dough with a slotted spoon. Place in bowl with powdered sugar and serve hot.

that sounds similar to what the Indians serve in New Mexico...they call it Fry Bread (I'm pretty sure that it has another name I just can't remember it right now)....

Anyway...it's awesome with honey on it!!! YUMMY!

How about cardboard box baking.
Line a card board box wuth heavy duty foil
Make a rack from green sticks
Mix up what ever bread,cake ,pie according to directions and bake according to instructions.
How you may ask?
each charcoal bricquet is 50 degrees so figure it out. They must be lit to begin with. Place them mon the bottom evenly distributed.Cover the front of the box with foil. The box should be stnding on its end,

For your box over, if you will go to a paper supply store and get one of the boxes that reams of printer paper comes in. These boxes are extra heavy and have really good heavy lids.

Thats what we use as I have a copier in my office and we take the boxes fo scout stuff

They will take lots more wear and tear than other boxes. We use to use banana boxes but they were to long and to short.

Variation on above omelette recipe.

We do the same thing. The boys call them 'puss bags'. Yummy.

in the baggy
2 eggs, a couple of pinches of grated cheese, taco sauce
boil until eggs are set
serve in a tortilla

and best of all - no dishes

ok people let cut out the bull and lets get to the point!!!


2 cans blackberry pie filling
1 box yellow cake mix
1 can Black Cherry soda drink

get a #12 dutch oven line with thick foil (aids in cleanup) pour both cans of filling in bottom. spread out filling then put cake mix on top of filling. spread out evenly. then pour can of black cherry soda over top. put charcoal on cook. black cherry soda does something and it tastes great. cooked this for our guest that came to eat at our last woodbadge weekend and they are still talking about our meals. Tha BEARS no less now also try the black cherry soda on the black forest cobbler also MMM taste great also. but then again you cant trust a skinny scouter cause they dont know how to cook like us full figured scouters.
