- Software - $0.00. We already own a copy of Grand Prix Race Manager. http://grandprix-software-central.com/gprm/
- Timer - $450. K3 timer with Grand Prix package deal (contains all the options). http://www.microwizard.com/choose.html
- Timer storage case - $50 (same vendor) - Might look for our own solution for $10. Need more storage space than their box.
- Track - $1300 ($1150 for anodized 40' 4 lane track plus $150 for shipping) http://www.pinewoodderbytrack.com/index.html
- Storage box for track - $100.00 This is a very very good idea but we need to build it ourselves. A lot of work. http://www.pinewoodderbytrack.com/case.html
- Other? - Serial port to USB adapter (newer computers don't have old fashioned serial ports)
We hope to let other groups associated with our charter org use it ... with our assistance.
I should mention we have borrowed a track from another pack for the last three years. They have been very gracious but the welcome is getting old. Prior to that, we used a gentleman to run our race but he charged $300 per race and took a long time. With the electronics, we are able to race 60 cars get to the awards in little over sixty minutes.
