Of the ones I've received, everyone of them has one or more items that "add to the requirements" or are blantantly against the current ACPP.

Unfortunately the CACs are the ones that sanction this type of stuff. If they read even the current ACPP, they would know some of the items they are requiring are wrong.

I believe that is going to be done along with the requirement that all reviewers complete the Reading MB. The number of "Scouters" that ignore current policies is staggering unfortunately. Throw in the helicopter parents and we have madness.

This is a parent who is constantly hovering over their little darling and driving the bus on everything the kid does right down to wiping his.... nose. This parent will be writing the ESLSP and will be earning Eagle for their son. They'll be setting up the kid's tent, fluffing the pillow, zipping up the raingear, packing the pack (if not carrying it), and checking the temperature on the marshmallow to make sure it's properly roasted before it goes on the smore.
