As a youth (District Chief) I attended a conclave for the Central Region

I'll be leaving for the last NE-2C, as we currently know it, today, 8-22-08. I think this will be my 9 conclave; 4 in NY, 2 in CT, 2 in PA, and 1 in NJ. I'm wondering how many I'll get to in the future, as our new section goes from LI Sound all the way due north to the Canadian border

Went to my first one this year at Camp Scouthaven in SW New York. One of the best times I have ever had in scouting.

Went to the newly formed NE-4A conclave this year at Custaloga Town Scout Camp. Had a reallly good time, last years Section Chief raised 500.00 for the new Section Chief "which is proudly from our lodge" to go to Dallas this winter by getting each lodge to pay 100.00 each for him to shave his head.

We held the first Conclave for the new Section: NE-7B at Camp Tri-Mount, deep in the heart of the Catskills. I was honored to be chosen as the Conclave Advisor to an incredible youth Chairman and Section Chief. We had a little rain, but all activities came off perfectly, and we ATE GREAT!!

We were also honored with the presence of the National Chief, National Vice Chief, the Central Region Chief, and the NE Region chief. Pretty impressive young men. We had over 200 attendies. But the sad thing was (?). . . half of them were adults! The youth were going to proms and getting ready for final exams in HS. The Conclave was held June 12 - 14th. Bad timing, I guess.

I went this year to SR-6 conclave at Camp Crooked Creek Kentucky. We had 900 attendees.

900? How'd you feed them all?

NE-4A's is at Camp Elk Lick this year which is just outside Smethport, Pa. The theme is super hero's. Should be a great time, this is my 4th straight year going to a conclave and will be my oldest son's 5th and my youngest son's 1st.

I cannot go due to work. Oh well.

Had a outstanding time!!! My oldest son was elected our new Section Vice Chief, very proud of him.

I went to many when W1-S was W1-A. Every year I was a youth in the OA.

I went to a few as a youth in the old NC region. I don't remember the section number now, but NC-5 sounds about right. We hosted one at Mitigwa in 1989 or 1990, and I know I attended one at C.S. Klaus in 1991.
