Life time dues
Posted: Fri Mar 14, 2008 10:38 amI'm in Gyantwachia lodge 255 and just paid my life time dues ,does any other ladge allow members to do this?

SO if you are no longer resistered in the BSA you cannot be in the OA. We discussed this a few years back and it was bounced off folks at National and this was the answer they gave us.

No our lodge does not offer this.

As you get older it costs less, it starts around 320.00 if you are under 20 years old the drops about 50.00 for every 10 years older than that.

Since most Lodges do not have lifetime dues, would Gyantwachia pay the new Lodge your dues each year?

Posted: Mon Mar 17, 2008 11:49 amAS I said there are no life Time dues. Lodges really cannot do his. You migght be making a 300. Donation but that does not guarantee you membership. You must be registered with a unit or council first.

Yes I would have to pay a new lodge dues, and I must also stay registered with a unit to keep my life dues active.
Posted: Mon Mar 17, 2008 1:18 pmIf you move to another lodge What upiu paid is gone. Ther is not a lodge that would accept that you are a life time member as they do not exist.
