I use a Magellan 400 and don't have to many problems with it. If you have an I-Phone or Droid they have geocaching apps that will go directly to Geocaching.com and pull all the caches near your current location.

I wasn't promoting it, I wouldn't buy one if they where the last phones around, just passing on what I know. :)

I also have a T400. Be very careful with Vanatage Point updates and the Geocaching.com Magellan Download. T400 is no longer being supported. I had a VP download that disabled my T400. jungleghost.com has info on the downloads that includes warnings what updates to load.

On our last geocaching trip, the batteries in the handhed GPS were dead. I set my car Garmin to pedestrian and it worked surprisingly well, if inelegantly.
