TroopWebHost announces support for TroopAwards

TroopWebHost has added functionality to their system to export advancement reports, blue card and roster data into TroopAwards, making it very easy to print your rank and merit badge pocket certificates.
In TroopAwards, you can choose to print either on official BSA card sheets (purchased at your Council office) or on blank perforated card sheets.
The software makes it easy for you to add custom rank an merit badge logos as well as a scanned signature if desired.

Here's a link to the TWH newsletter:

Full disclosure: I'm the webmaster for a very large troop and am in the process of implementing TWH as well as TroopAwards (which I developed).

You can get a demo version at www.troopawards.com. The demo is fully functional and without a time limit, but has the word "DEMO" watermarked on printouts until a valid license is applied.
This allows you to fully test it before buying.
Thanks for reading!

Can't you be banned for advertisements on here? I thought you could.

I thought it was ok if what you're promoting is scout-specific and a direct benefit to other scouters. The intended customer for TroopAwards is so narrowly focused on troop advancement chairmen that it's hard to get the word out. Boards like this are the best way to reach folks who might benefit from it. Anyway, I emailed the moderator and made a waiver request - will see what he says.
If you decide to try the app, I would really appreciate any feedback!

Short answer: Yes.
Long answer: Well, it depends. There are very limited exceptions to this rule. (See: [POLICY] Geek forum rules; read this prior to posting here.)

I must admit that I appreciate such information. I'm not connected with the vendor. But when it's tightly scouting related, it would be nice if there was a Advertisements or Products forum so that we can hear about new products. That's me though. :) There's lots of new scouting software out there. I'd like to hear more updates about them.

personally i dont have a problem with this if it isnt excessive and it is directly on topic for what most of us come here for. just my two cents.
