Is there any freeware software that exists to track pamphlet lending based on the date it was checked out?

Man, what a good question. I know there are zillions of database programs out there for CD, DVD, et al, libraries. Since I'm a techno-geek, I'm regularly looking for new stuff to try. I'll keep it in mind as I peruse the net... and report back here if I find something worth using.

Does anybody have an Excel (or OpenOffice) spreadsheet for this?

I took the main table from http://usscouts.org/mb/mbbooks.asp and converted it to a simple Excel table, then added columns for Books in Stock, Loaned To, and Loaned On. That should work. It can be downloaded here: http://usscouts.org/advance/docs/mbbooks.xls
