Scouting Apps

Curious as to whether any of you have been using any of the Scouting apps available for iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, or cel phones, and which ones you use.

Hi Steve-

We haven't been, but have noted a definite need for this sort of thing. One of the scouters in my area started a non-profit to develop some scouting software and tie it in with an iPhone/Droid/general mobile app, so we're working on that at http://www.scoutspirit.com

There's the plug. That said, I think that Troopmaster has a software add-on that will provide functionality to blackberries, and there are one or two other packages (including TroopTrack) that have apps. We haven't found another general-purpose Scouting app that will maintain records and do all that sexy stuff. So we're building it.
