Hunting MB

Postby Scouting179 » Sun Dec 24, 2006 1:13 pm

Last year there was a blurb on meritbadge.com about a Hunting MB being field tested. Word was it was a photographic hunt, not a hunt with guns or bows. What happened with this? Was a patch ever made for it?

I've heard that it was a possible merit badge in development also, nothing else other than that.

Good luck. With all the wonderful ideas for Merit Badges that boys are actually interested in. The best National could come up for the newest badge is Composit Material. It all boils down to money. From my understanding some company put up all the money to develope the badge and paid for printing all the books.

They have been doing a test of a hunting MB I really do not know if that is over at this time. In included everything with hunting EXCEPT killing the game.
