Merit Badges (Patches) in Need of Re-design

There are a lot of the badges whose patches need redesigned. Ugliest ones include: Theater, Archaeology, Inventing, and Toilet Paper...er, Pulp and Paper.

Archaeology looks like a big thumb. All three of my sons earned this badge and we they brought it home, I really had to look to see the detailing.

I always think of Fingerprinting as The Addams Family badge. It looks like Cousin It.

This was brought up in another thread. I think that Family Life needs a redesign. Each third of the badge shows the same thing.

Do you mean the patches? Yes, Family Life.

Let's get rid of the ugly Inventing patch, too. Seriously, a wheel? What artistically and intellectually challenged person chose that?

And, I get what they were going for with Pulp & Paper, but have yet to see a boy get the patch without making a TP comment.
