I grew up a scout. It has always been in my family. I have always collected badges, pins, medals, as a hobby. At a yard sale recently I came across an assortment of vintage scout stuff, and included was a Parvuli Dei Award medal. I realise this is a religious cub-scouting award, but what catches my eye is that this medal looks unlike any other Parvuli Dei award I've seen. I can assume that it is in someway historical, or vintage, or just a wierd phony (although who counterfeits scouting awards I don't know).
My own nerdy fascination has me intrigued. If anyone out there is, or knows, a scout-historian or anyone who could tell me more it would be greatly appreciated. If you do, I can provide pictures via email. Thanks for the time!
