For the First Class requirement: "Since joining, have participated in 10 separate troop/patrol activities (other than
troop /patrol meetings)..."
If our troop does a Merit Badge class not during the Troop/patrol meeting, does that count? Thanks!

I would count that. Your son should ask his patrol leader though, to be sure.
