Son called out for OA

Postby 9009scoutmaster » Wed Jul 11, 2007 12:10 pm

At summer Camp my son and one other youth was called out for the OA. Their Ordeal will be in the middle of August. As a supported of the OA, I look foward to this because it will help me sell the OA to my troop. These two youth will be the first youth from troop to become OA member that I know of in over 6-10 years. Also will help explain why OA dates are included in our troop calander.

Congratulations to your son and other youth members.

My son will be having his Brotherhood Ceremony tomorrow evening. He was tapped out and did his ordeal last year. He is our O/A Troop Rep and is very involved in our Lodge. I can say the experience has definately rekindled his Scouting Spirit.
