Mad Dog, I have been there. I was there in 2002 and 2003. I went there before I was really into scouting (like i am now). They have very nice campsites and it has an excellent layout. Its program might be the most extensive for a concil owned and operated camp that I've ever seen. It has a science center where they offer MBs such as Nuclear Science and many other MBs many scouts may never have the chance to do again. It has a lake and a pool and I'm sure you can figure out what MBs go where. The water carnival isnt the gratest but its fun. Also when I was there they offered SCUBA classes and that was a blast. Ockanikon also offers an extensive climbing program for both youth and adults. Although I don't want to say it...Ockanikon is a bit of a MB factory. But it all depends on the councelor. There is also a large variety of various other programs for the older scouts. So nobody, older scouts and adults included, has an excuse for not doing anything at this camp. There dining hall is very, very nice. When I was there it was air conditioned and they had to chefs on staff. One was a guess what you would call a "regular" chef and the other was a pastery chef...so we ate good, very good.
If you would like more information just email me. I still have info from when i went in '02 and '03.
