Our troop wears the Sash for COH, Eagle dinner and any other major celebration, or formal community service event.

The Sash is not allowed for COH. It is only to be worn at an OA activity or when you are doing something for the Lodge elsewhere ie: OA Election, etc.
Also the universal ribbon can be worn anytime

[
b]The little Arrow you refer to is the National Ribbon and should not be worn with out the pocket flap. [/b]

The ribbon and arrow denotes that a person was inducted as a member of the OA, and the lodge patch indicates membership in the lodge. It is not necessary to be a member of a lodge to wear the ribbon and arrow, and it is not a requirement if you are a member of a lodge to wear the pocket flap patch.

Sorry, but you got it worng!
