How can I change my Avatar?

How can I change my Avatar? so that when I post something on this forum folks can see I'm an (adult) Eagle scout, or does that really matter?

The title under your name changes based on how much you post.

You can use your user profile to set a signature with some backgroung info that will be at the bottom of each post if you like.

OK, gotta do it. I can see what y'all are discussing, but what is the avatar? I read that in other forums, and thought it was a picture by one's name, and now I don't know. Sorry.

the avatar is the rank right below your name. like was said before it has to do with the number of post that you have made.
